Jubilation Lee is a spunky, over the top, over-confident character. Her powers are more fun than potent. She is anxious to be a full-fledged X-Man, and will often get herself into trouble trying to prove her worth. She is one of the youngest New Mutants and tends to act her age.

Jubilee's powers allow her to fire off firework like discharges from her hands. After the events of Day of Reckoning, Jubilee's parents no longer felt that she was safe at the Xavier Institute and have forced her to come home.
