I've been an X-Men fan forever. Mostly thanks to my uncle who passed down old issues to me when I was only 8-9 years old. They were the issues introducing Kitty Pryde and she's been one of my favorites ever since. I've lost interest in the comics in the last few years though. I don't really think they represent the same thing they did when I was a child. That's why I've become such an Evolution fan. To me it really takes me back to the innocence and fun that I remember from those old issues. When I'm not caught up in the world of X-Men I have a great husband that I spend a lot of my time with. I love tinkering with web designs and layouts, reading and writing (especially fantasy), photography, and very recently hockey.

For a little bit of site history, Beyond actually started out as an offshoot of a Kitty Pryde site that I used to run called "Pryde of the X-Men". Since Kitty was going to be a member of the new cartoon I had a section for Evolution. But I liked the show so much it soon outgrew being merely a Kitty Pryde thing and Beyond was born. The site has been up and running (in one form or another) for over four years now. But I don't think it would be what it is today without the help and support of so many of you X-Men fans out there.

Despite being a fan of the old X-Men cartoon and comics for ten years, this is my first time working on an X-Men-related fansite. I started web designing in 1997, and all of my fansites thus far have been anime-related (most notably the Dragonball Z site "Temple O' Trunks," the largest Trunks shrine on the 'net). In recent years, I have become interested in digital video editing, which has led to my creating over 60 anime music videos, several of which have won awards across the country at conventions. As soon as more DVDs come out, expect to see some X-Men Evolution music videos from me. In terms of my web work, I enjoy creating web designs, graphics, and layouts. But, one of my favorite activities is creating screencaps, which you will soon find an abundance of on Beyond Evolution!

The original X-Men animated series quickly made an X-Men fan out of me when it originally aired years ago. Cartoon Network recently introduced me to X-Men: Evolution. While taking a bit longer to make a favorable impression than the original animated series, eventually I found it quite entertaining. One fateful day a search for X-Men: Evolution information brought me here, to the best X-Men: Evolution site on the net. Free time outside of work and family is spent racing stock cars in the summer and tinkering with computer hardware.

Iíve been a fan of the X-Men since the animated series originally aired back in 1992. Rogue always stood out as my favorite even in Evolution. It took me a while to like her in the Evolution series, but I can gladly say that I am a fan of that vision of Rogue as well [despite the current hate going on over the Impact episode]. I was never a real fan of Evolution, and I even labeled it as garbage when it first aired following the release of the first X-Men movie. Slowly, but surely, Iíve come out of the shell and am now a full-fledged fan. I became so obsessed with the series that I wanted to start an Evolution website and I even created a layout; but why start a new one, when there already is a great one on the web? So, here I am video encoder for Beyond Evolution. Stay tuned for some great clips, and hopefully anything else I can contribute to the X-Fan base.

Just a guy with entirely too much time on his hands and a healthy obsession with X-Men Evolution. Been a fan since way back when in 92' with TAS, and of course loved both the movies. But by far my favorite incarnation of the X-Men would be Evolution. Originally started out just sending some helpful profiles to Denaill, and she was kind enough to offer me a spot among the staff, thus fulfilling my dream of working on an X-Men Evolution fan website (and one of the best, I might add). I also write some fanfictions in my spare time.

by Spider-Man 8/16/07:

"...X-Men: TAS has The X-Men facing off against Sentinels and a couple of their teammates getting captured or killed. As for X-Men: Evolution it starts off at a High School Football game/Pep Rally. You know exactly what both of these series are about thanks to the first episode though X-Men: Evoluton does evolve as the series progresses."
